Nice to meet you. I am cHask, a blogger and video contributor.
Just to conclude first, Macs with M1 or later can use Parallels Desktop to create a Windows environment so they can play the PC version of NIKKE.
This is a valuable way to use Windows on M1 and later Macs where BootCamp is not available, so please refer to this page if you want to play Windows-only games.
2 ways to play NIKKE for PC on Mac [M1 support]
There are two ways to play the PC version of NIKKE on a Mac, and each method is described in detail below.
- Install Windows with BootCamp (M1 not available)
- Deploy Windows with Parallels Desktop
Method 1: Install Windows with BootCamp (M1 not available)
The PC version of NIKKE does not support Macs, but you can use BootCamp to install Windows on a Mac with an Intel CPU.
BootCamp features the following and was the typical method of installing Windows until the M1-chip Mac was introduced.
- Be able to choose Mac or Windows at startup.
- BootCamp is already installed on the Mac from the beginning.
- Easy to install as long as you have a Windows license
However, BootCamp does not support Macs with M1 chips or later, and can only be used on older Macs with Intel CPUs.
In terms of age, Macs released after 2020 are not supported
If you have a Mac with an Intel CPU, simply follow the instructions in BootCamp to install Windows and play the PC version of NIKKE.
However, when installing Windows on a Mac with BootCamp, the following Windows license is required.
Method 2: Deploy Windows with Parallels Desktop
If you want to play the PC version of NIKKE on a Mi chip or later Mac, Parallels Desktop can create a Windows virtual environment so you can play.

To begin with, Parallels Desktop is software that allows you to run Windows, Linux, etc. on your Mac, with the following advantages.
- Mac processing speed does not slow down much and runs light
- Copy and paste or drag and drop between Mac and Windows
- Easier to use Windows than Boot Camp
- Compatible with Macs with M1 chip or later (Boot Camp is not supported)
Currently, the only way to install Windows on a Mac with an M1 chip or later is Parallels Desktop, so this software is essential if you want to play the PC version of NIKKE on a Mac.
There is a free trial version of Parallels on the official website, so if you want to put a Windows virtual environment on your Mac, try it.
2 ways you can’t play NIKKE for PC on Mac
The following methods are also available for playing Windows-only games on a Mac, but neither is supported for the PC version of NIKKE.
- cloud gaming service
- Launch iPhone application (M1 or later)
Not supported1: Cloud gaming services
Macs can use cloud gaming to launch Windows-only games, but the PC version of NIKKE is not yet supported.
To begin with, cloud gaming is a service that allows you to enjoy high-load PC games on your smartphone or tablet by using an Internet connection.
With cloud gaming, the game processing is borne by the service provider’s servers, and there is virtually no burden on our phones and tablets.
In other words, we, the users, are “remotely controlling a high-spec gaming PC” and can comfortably play games that cannot be played on a smartphone or tablet.
Currently, GeForce Now is the most popular type of cloud gaming service, but the PC version of NIKKE has not been released.
Many PC-only games will be supported (NIKKE is unlikely to support them in the future).
Therefore, if you want to play the PC version of NIKKE on your Mac, you will need a Windows environment, so we recommend installing Parallels Desktop or similar.
Not supported 2: Launching iPhone apps
M1 or later Macs can also launch applications for iPhone, but only some applications are supported and NIKKE is not supported.
AmongUs would have supported it.
Frankly, it is unlikely to be supported in the future, so if you want to play NIKKE on your M1Mac, you will need Windows.
I recommend Parallels Desktop because you can easily prepare a Windows environment and play NIKKE on a Mac after M1.
